The application of Rayleigh waves in geological prospecting and engineering has been widely tested used as a new method shallow seismic exploration. previous surface wave inversion needed to calculate the corresponding phase velocity that satisfied dispersion function. This process increases computation amount reduces efficiency. paper proposes solve problem by using different definition methods objective greatly while results approximately equal with traditional method. cuts time 1% conventional provides favorable conditions for multiple inversions suppress solutions. We set artificial initial parameters linear constraints our increasing model test accelerate convergence rate target function obtain accurate quicker. Finally, this is applied microtremor data strong disturbance, are consistent high-density electrical profile survey data.
